The Colorado River Series

The Colorado River series documents the flow of the river's water and utilizes archival paper.  The pieces pick up imprints of lichen, pine needles, sand, and earth.  This is a collaborative project with nature and includes the headwaters of the Colorado River in the Colorado Rockies and the mid-point at Lee's Ferry in Arizona. Deep rich blue abstract images are captured to honor this river that feeds the West.
